Strategic Initiatives of the ADAFP
To advance its mission of strengthening democracy, governance, human rights, and regional solidarity, ADAFP is building a continent-wide institutional architecture. Overview
ADAFP will build five executive institutions, each serving a distinct but complementary mission:
- ADAFP Training Center
- ADAFP Campaign Support
- ADAFP Think Tank
- ADAFP Endowment Fund
- ADAFP Freedom & Progress Prize
Together, they form the backbone of ADAFPโs long-term strategy for strengthening democracy, civic leadership, and continental cooperation.
1. ADAFP Training Center
Purpose: To train, mentor, and empower the next generation of African liberal and democratic leaders, especially youth and women.

- Leadership academies
- Governance & public policy training
- Mentorship by reformers and scholars
- Field placements (political parties, CSOs, think tanks)
- Pan-African networking forums
